I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I eat a lot of vegetarian food. I can honestly say that Thai Vegan is a pretty good restaurant, not just a good restaurant for a place that's completely vegan. I was dubious at first of Thai food that was vegan tasting good, especially since fish sauce provides a ton of flavor in many dishes. However, I will say that the dishes that can substitute soy sauce or hoison sauce for fish sauce, in Thai cuisine are pretty dang tasty. The first time, I got the pad thai, and while it was not bad (although it was quite sticky, as other reviewers have stated), it just didn't taste the way that I like my pad thai; that's most likely a personal preference, though, since I like egg, fish sauce, and cabbage in my pad that. The dish that I've gotten here most frequently, which I like best so far is the spicy basil noodles. It probably helps that the non-Vegan version of this dish is vegan anyway, unless you get it with meat. Several dishes are also available as lunch or dinner meals, and come with spring rolls and as side salad for about $12.95, which while more expensive that several other delicious Thai restaurants at which I've eaten in places where there are more options for Thai than in New Mexico, is still a good value. Thai vegan has good ingredients, and can do several dishes well; however, be wary of dishes that depend strongly on fish sauce or seafood, since there are just some flavors that can't be accomplished (at least not yet) without animal product. P.S. I prefer getting my dishes with tofu as opposed to any of the soy or whey protein substitute meats, because, let's face it, they don't have nearly the taste or texture of meat. Plus, they're weirdly processed, so if you're vegan for health, you probably shouldn't eat those anyway.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Santa Fe. The food is good and I always have fabulous leftovers.
(5)Chris L.
Great food, clean environment, very kind and attentive staff. Stopped in based on Yelp reviews and had lunch. One chose Green Curry and one chose Fresh Ginger. Both were really excellent. Lunch menu provides perfect portion.

the PET was an instant classic

A vegan friend dragged my lifelong-carnivorous ass here, and after much initial grumbling and dread I have to say it wasn't nearly as bad as expected. Most of the fake meat seems to be made from seitan, a wheat protein which is relatively inoffensive compared to other vegan fake meats---both in terms of edibility and postprandial gas/bloating (or rather, the surprising absence thereof). Sure, I would've much preferred to sink my teeth into the cooked flesh of some poor tortured-and-murdered sentient being / animal, but on the whole this wasn't BAD, in the way that something as heinous as tempeh can be. Anyway, the main saving grace is the Thai coconut milk based curries, which are at just the right level of spiciness---neither overwhelming nor overly watered-down-for-the-gringos. The accompanying vegetables were quite good of course, fresh tasting and well cooked to retain their crunchiness. And the fact that our server was a beautiful almost Indian (as in India Indian, not native-American Indian) looking woman with the most lovely flawless olive colored skin didn't hurt, either. The surroundings are quite pleasant, you feel like you're eating in an adobe Thai Buddhist temple, full of warm colors, very cozy. Prices were reasonable for Santa Fe, my one and only regret is that they don't have a liquor license...washing down that nice spicy food with some good beer (well, again, "good" relative to what microbrews are available in Santa Fe which ain't much) would've been the proverbial icing on the cake. So, all in all I'd say that their Thai meatless cuisine is far better than the hopelessly bland and tasteless North American white bread vegan/vegetarian fare...even better than Indian vegetarian food (never had Indian vegan food), due to the lack of ghee and roti (both absolutely delish, and absolutely bloating).

Pleasantly surprised!! I was a little hesitant to go to an all vegan joint, but boy am I glad my mom found this place. Everything we tried was delicious. We ordered yellow curry with soy chicken, praram with beef and pad thai with tofu. The leftovers were scrumptious the next day. Service was perfect also. We told the waitress that we would have to be quick as we were heading to the opera after dinner and didn't want to be late. She happily accommodated us with our request and it also appeared that she was the only server. Prices was also very reasonable. We will absolutely return!

Rarely do I give a five star review but I have to say Thai Vegan exceeded our expectations. We have a fair bit of experience with both authentic and Americanized Thai food and while the plates are slightly atypical for general Thai food that's more from the lack of meat protein than any lack of authenticity in the kitchen. I would highly recommend Thai Vegan for carnivores and vegans alike. Amazing and inspired dishes and great value for the money coupled with a friendly yet unobtrusive staff in a pleasant atmosphere. Easily a new favorite to add to our Santa Fe must visit list!

The Thai Vegan restaurant I have eaten at in Albuquerque is terrific. This is not so much. I ordered a salad and the sesame dressing had gone bad and I didn't want the peanut dressing because of how much sugar the waitress told me they put in it. She asked if I was on a "lo-carb diet." haha. The service was really slow and it just isn't really worth it to eat here if you order something and then have to send it back. Skip it.

My father and I stopped by on a Monday for lunch. The sign out front instructed us to seat ourselves, and we made our way to a cozy half circle booth. A handful of other diners were situated throughout the restaurant. The waitress seemed pretty nice, and apologized each time she came to our table, which felt a bit overly polite. Anyhow I ordered a Red Curry, and my father the Pad Thai. The curry was a bowl of veggies with a delicious, but not very spicy sauce (I love very hot food, so normal people might have found it spicy). It came with purplish brown rice, two small spring rolls, and a American type salad with Italian dressing. Overall it was quite normal, well made and presented Thai food. I'll be back when in Santa Fe for sure.
(4)Sherry C.
The staffs are very friendly, food are tasty with large portion. They are considerate and suggested us to order half-sized soup, but it was still a lot. Ice creams are using coconut milk, not too fond of that. Apr. 18th, 2015

Excellent. Sunday PM. Enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Food is great. Adding this place to my come back here again list.
(5)Joel N.
It was okay until I found a roach in my food Kind of lost desire to try the rest of it
(1)Ashley K.
best vegan Thai food I've had! they had plenty of mock meats and a very large selection. We started off with the red chili dumplings, which were very yummy. I got the pad Thai with pepper steak which was AMAZING!!! My sister got a salad (something like power green?) and it was beautiful. the waiter was very sweet and was accommodating. we last got the banana spring rolls, which were also delicious.
(5)Samuel C.
It took a very long time to get our food, and we were on our lunch break so we had to get it to go. The Pad Thai is the worst I have ever had. The vegetables and noodles are limp and soggy. For all of this, the price was high for lunch. It seems all of the restaurants in Santa Fe think they can charge over $10 for lunch. I am amazed that there are 5 star reviews for this place, but maybe they were having an off day. Not going to venture back anytime soon.
(1)Francois T.
While the location is almost on a highway, and the building is basic Chinese Restaurant Red, the food is excellent-- forget about the fact that it is vegan. Nothing you eat is the result of slaughter or animal exploitation. The "chicken" "fish" & other tofu meats taste natural. The sauces are delicious. i loved the hot ginger drink. I'll come back whenever i can!
(5)Michelle M.
The atmosphere is nice, and the service is great. What's most important, of course, is the food. It's definitely good. I had the Spicy Noodles (same as Pad Kee Mao most places) lunch special. Nicely spiced with great veggies. The spring rolls weren't fabulous, just OK, but the sauce was nice. I'm visiting Santa Fe, so I don't have a sense of what the Thai food options are. The 3 stars are for a serious Thai food afficionado like me living on the west coast with the best Thai options - so likely add a star given the locale.
(3)Tess C.
I was trying to see what the vegan options were on Yelp, and what a nice surprise! Plus, Thai food is one of my favorites! I went with a friend and we ordered several items and shared them - the papaya salad, steamed curry dumplings, spicy noodles, and yellow curry (with the vegan chicken nuggets). Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the papaya salad and dumplings. So much flavor! The ambiance was also very nice, and the service was spot on. I will go out of my way to come back!!
(5)Megan T.
Great service, quick with your orders, peaceful ambience! Second time there and the food was delicious again. It's difficult to find decent Asian food in the southwest and this fills the void. PET, curry, and potstickers are my recommendations. The only reason they lost a star is because the vegetables look the same in each dish and they have those serrated carrot disks which makes me wonder if they came from a big mixed bag from Sysco or something. That said, the vegetables are always fresh and taste good. Maybe I'm just weird about serrated carrots.
(4)Laura L.
Yum! Got take-out for lunch last week and was very impressed. For $10, I got a good serving of the PET (kabocha pumpkin, eggplant and tofu stir fried with thai basil, carrots, onions, and peppers) with a salad and brown rice which is pressed into a HEART SHAPE. How adorable is that!? The waitress gave me a glass of water as I waited for my foods which I thought was nice.. she probably saw how dried up and pruny I've become since I've moved to NM. Anyway, my meal was very flavorful and fresh. No soggy ass tofu or hard rice. I usually stray away from vegan meats but I think I'd be game to try it at this place, cause I feel like they'd do it right.
(5)Sugar I.
If you don't want soy, just ask, I order all veggies & everything is made fresh. Staff are always sweet, gentle types...refreshing. Meat eaters will love this food, too.
(5)Ouroboros B.
Good vegan Thai food. I think the flavors from the kitchen taste less Thai here than they do at the ABQ locations (which serve excellent Thai food.) The decour is nice, as is the parking lot in back. Clean, lots of tables.
(3)Heather B.
I am not vegan (or vegetarian), but this is definitely the best Thai food in town. The lunch and dinner combos are reasonably priced and the soy meat in the food does taste quite good. Definitely don't be turned off if you are not vegan. The food is yummy!
(4)Don V.
We eat there every time we visit Santa Fe. I'm not vegan but their food has some of the best flavor of any Thai I've ever had. Nice people and great food...
(5)Jess P.
I ordered the pad Thai dinner which came with spring rolls and a salad. It was all super tasty. My husband went with a soy bacon wrap and said it tasted "healthy" and it was good, but not amazing. So, stick to the Thai food. It was really nice ordering from a menu that wouldn't have hidden fish sauce in a dish.
(4)Ben T.
Delicious! Friendly service. Clean welcoming environment. The GREEN CURY was awesome. Great with the dumplings too. WONTON NOODLE SOUP was yumm-oh. Desert was pretty good. MANGO was yummy (it was just a cut mango with some sweet sauce on top, but hey, it was delicious). The SWEET RICE really wasn't my thing but my family enjoyed it. I recommend coming here if you want to eat HEALTHY. Staff was friendly and helpful
(4)Lauren H.
Whoa! Pretty sure this is the BEST Thai food I've ever had, which is saying a lot because I've actually been to Thailand. Every bite of my dish was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was really nice as well. I got the yellow curry, and my friend got the Tom Kha soup. We shared our dishes and were ooh-ing and aah-ing the entire meal. Definitely check this place out when you're in Santa Fe! You won't be disappointed.
(5)Adwaith G.
I have been here couple of times. On my most recent outing I opted for lentil loaf meal. Yet again, it was tasty, ample, and I could eat peacefully without the fear of having any meats and unhealthy ingredients. Thai Vegan is very particular about serving healthy food and that's one place where I can just jump on any dish without any strict inquiries about presence of meat in dishes. Highly recommend!
(5)Kim L.
We ate here on our recent trip to Santa Fe and enjoyed it very much. The food came quickly and was light and flavorful. There were many options for everything you would find in a Thai food restaurant, but all vegan! The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the sauces had interesting flavors. The interior was cozy, and was nice for our first night in Santa Fe.
(5)Mark D.
Great vegan and organic food. You won't be disappointed. We did a take out order type dinner thingy almost three weeks ago. The service was excellent and the wait time was very reasonable. When we asked for plates and accessories- they had no problem accommodating. Highly recommend! Enjoy!
(5)Cassandre V.
I was really looking forward to a meal at this place after reading the positive reviews; unfortunately, the way that I was treated during my visit was not at all pleasant. We started with the papaya salad which quite good and I ordered the Spicy Noodles as an entree. I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy food however the noodles were uncomfortably hot for me. After trying to get our waiter's attention for about ten minutes, I asked him if it were possible to change the spice level. The waiter seemed fine with relaying it to the chef. When I got the dish back however, it was very clear that the cook simply decided to soak the noodles in water until bland, mushy and unpalatable. I would have been more than happy to have ordered another dish, and I frankly felt insulted that they decided to take that approach. It's been the only negative food experience in Santa Fe and I hope that this isn't standard practice for other customers in this situation.
(2)Will V.
Really awful pad thai. We had pad thai with fried tofu, Papaya salad, and Chicken Satay. The Satay was the only thing that was edible. And it was actually pretty good. The pad thai was an uncomfortably sticky consistency. It was under seasoned, so it just tasted like bland peanut sauce. We had ordered takeout so we had some fish sauce and tamarind that we added. Still didn't take away from the consistency, but it made it edible. We understand that they're vegan, but there are substitutes for fish sauce that could be very effective. Papaya salad was under seasoned. Needed more sweet chile. Added some sweet chile sauce and it was ok. Bottom line, their chef just doesn't seem to understand proper seasoning, or have ever tasted really thai food in their life. In the future will go to thai cafe, which is our usual.
(2)Lyric K.
This place is horrible. I order an eggplant dish. There are tons of other (read That as "cheap in bulk" veggies like carrots and cabbage) and 3 pieces of eggplant. The overall quality as opposed to other restaurants in Santa Fe is poor. it is amazing that people rave about this place. I suppose when you're vegan there are few options and so this might be just fine. But if you're just in the mood for a vegetarian meal or some Thai, go some place else.
(1)Whitney K.
The 3 stars is for the Tom Yum soup and friendly service. The other food was mediocre, at best. I did not care for the Pad Thai at all. Way too sweet. All of the food was missing a little kick or spice or something? It was bland. Meh. . . I am vegan and we eat Thai food a good 90% of the time. I wasn't that impressed with this place.
(3)Marqui R.
I ended up here in search of dara thai which had closed. Never been to a vegan thai restaurant so I didn't know.what.to .expect. everything on the menu was.what you would typically find except with different choices of protein like soy chicken or tofu. We ordered the tom yum soup and a lunch special, went with tofu since I've never tried soy chicken. They served us.healthy portions and the salad that Came with my lunch special was huge! The food was.the perfect spiciness and I thoroughly.enjoyed my meal very much, I finished all my food which I never do. Well definitely be back when I'm in the mood for vegan thai!
(5)Kat C.
I came here with a group of 9 for a birthday party. Sadly we were competing with a party of 25 for service. My food was pretty good. I had the thin bean noodle plate. Yummy and I ate it all. Several people ordered pad thai and it was tasty. The ice cream was not good at all and was left untouched by several of us, but the rice pudding was so good we ordered a second round. Thai Iced tea is made with soy. Coconut milk was not an option. The biggest frustration was the service. One or two random plates were left uncleared, the servers would run off before we were done ordering or asking for our check. Half the glasses would be refilled with water before they ran off and didn't return. It was schizophrenic service for sure. I personally try to avoid soy at all costs, but as this wasn't my birthday I was able to find something tasty. The service however was utterly bizarre.
(3)Michel I.
Can't say anything about the food. They wouldn't serve me so much as a spring roll 5 minutes after 9 pm closing. After driving 5 hours and stumbling in this place thanks to Yelp Open Now filter, I had my hopes up. So much for Thai friendliness.
(1)K H.
Very satisfying! Vegetable pad thai and the vegetable green curry are delicious! Super friendly staff and cozy environment!
(4)Elissa L.
Friendly staff. Perfect portion. Had the red curry lunch combo - comes with a side salad & spring rolls. Curry sauce a bit on the salty side otherwise tasty!
(4)Gurvinderpal S.
My 7th time in two weeks it's an amazing restaurant, I really like the food and it's an awesome feeling as a vegetarian to know that I can eat everything off the menu. From the appetizers to the main course it's all vegan! I really enjoy their noodle dishes & curries. I do miss dara Thais yellow pineapple curry with tofu :/. Here is a quick tip... When you order the curry instead of the side of brown rice you can ask for a side of the flat rice noodles... They come on the side and it may be a bit tricky to eat but it's totally worth it!! Also I wouldn't recommend making it extra spicy otherwise you'll just won't be Abel to finish your meal.
(5)Whryne R.
This place was absolutely yummmm city! I was in town for my sisters wedding and being a typical bridezilla she was in heavy 'me' mode so when her vegetarian sister started starving I was left to fend for myself. Luckily she left me access to a car and I was able to find the place quite easily in Santa Fe just using google maps. The parking is in the back and there was ample seating. I asked the server what he recommended and together we settled on the P.E.T. (Pumpkin, eggplant, tofu in garlic sauce with bell pepper, basil and chili.). It was so unusual that I simply had to give it a try and I'm super glad that I did. I immediately wanted to order another something to go and I wish that I had because I never managed to get back there before I left. If I ever find myself in Santa Fe again it will be quite tough to get me to try anyplace else!
(4)Sonny W.
I've been coming here for a few years and the food is awesome! My personal favorite is the spicy noodle dinner combo. The service is courteous and prompt...very delicious ingredients and great service.
(5)Silver S.
We may never cook at home again now that Thai Vegan has opened in Santa Fe. We dined at Thai Vegan Santa Fe on their third day in existence. Servers were moving fast, but service was nonetheless a bit slow as they are working out some kinks. But holy moly, it was certainly worth the wait. The ginger tea was a treat -- strongly brewed, hot and spicy -- it will take the chill off any northern New Mexico night. We started with tofu satay, and after we had devoured the tofu skewers, we ended up using our fingers to get every last drop of peanut sauce from the dipping dish and into our mouths. For mains, we shared the red curry with soy chicken and the spicy eggplant with vegan pepper steak. Every single bite of every dish was delectable, as good as anything I ate in Thailand. The food was so uncontrollably delicious that we shamelessly ran our fingers around the plates and into our mouths to ingest every last molecule of sauce. Our mothers didn't raise us to do that in restaurants, but if our mothers had tasted this Thai food, they would have given us permission to lift the plates to our faces and lick up every last drop. As an exercise of restraint, we saved a little bit and requested to-go containers for the meager leftovers. Then while waiting for our check, we lost control and ate out of the to-go containers while still sitting at the table. We were too embarrassed to leave an empty to-go container on the table (even though we were the adults wiping our plates with fingers and then licking them in public), so we brought the empty containers home. Once home, I immediately disassembled the paper box so that I could slurp up the last of the red curry sauce in the privacy of my never-to-be-used-again kitchen, and without the waiter thinking I needed a 12-step program for his chef's red curry. We asked for a to-go menu for immediate future use and were told that they didn't have one yet. I contemplated taking the full-size 4-page menu and sneaking it out of the restaurant under my coat so I could call in my next order. Without admitting guilt, I need to finish this review so I can call in that order now!
(5)Siri Sadhana S.
Excellent Thai food, Thai coffee and tea, and appetizers. Very fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend most dishes and appetizers. Great for lunch and dinner.
(5)Scottie F.
I'm vegan & I go here reluctantly. They can never get my order right. Communication is one of the biggest hurdles. I'm giving it 3 stars just because it's vegan. But other than it being vegan, I would never go here. And too expensive for the portions. I always leave the thai vegans and go get something else to eat.
(3)David B.
I was in heaven here, everything is obviously vegan and it was delicious. I was in town for a conference, went there for dinner & got the PET (Pumpkin, Eggplant & Tofu). I liked it so much I went back for lunch the next day before going to the airport! If I lived in Santa Fe I would go there every week!
(5)Christine A.
Absolutely delicious. I'm trying to figure how much time needs to go by before I can return and not look crazy. :) I had the Fresh Ginger lunch special, and it was amazing. I am not a vegan, nor a vegetarian, and I was incredibly impressed. Fresh mushrooms, onions, garlic, ginger, celery, bell peppers and fried tofu with brown rice, fresh green salad and delicious spring rolls. The Thai iced tea was delicious and refreshing. This is a reasonably priced, worth - it stop if you're going through Santa Fe. The waitress was very nice, and the decor nicely themed. My compliments to the chef!
(5)Cesar A.
Very very well done!! It's my first time having vegan and Thai food! Didn't think I would like it very much, but it was AMAZINGLY GOOD!! I would encourage everyone to try it if you never had. Also Very friendly staff!! And the inside is clean and looking good. Music plays nice and soft to enjoy a great evening here.
(5)Caleb R.
We have been here several times for take out and both the food and service have been excellent. I highly recommend it.
(5)Dan C.
We loved our meal. We had glass noodle salad, PET (pumpkin, eggplant, tofu), and cashew stir fry with tofu chicken. The salad was bright, lively and tangy. The PET, was wonderfully rich and had depth of flavors. Service was attentive and friendly. Decor is cheesy. We will return often.
(4)Bethany M.
Finally made it here, and I'm super impressed...lovely staff, wonderful food and a gorgeous environment. Gluten free sauces on request! Everything was very delicious and beautifully presented. Looking forward to going back. My new fav in Santa Fe.
(4)Darrin R.
This is the best vegan food I've ever had and is so delicious that non-vegans (like me) are glad to eat here anyway. Delicious Thai food by any standard.
(5)Albert M.
The food here is delicious, and to be perfectly honest you can barely tell its vegan. This is more like a Thai restaurant that doesn't use meat, and you can't even tell. Great place to bring non-vegans for an awesome meal. Definitely give the spring rolls a try, you get 6 in the appetizer and they are so fresh, hot, and yummy..
(5)Gary K.
As a vegan, it's always a pleasure to find a restaurant that serves a menu where all the choices are not only compassionate, but yummy and modestly priced. My pad thai was delicious and my wife enjoyed her red curry very much. $11.95 buys a combination dinner that includes a main course, spring rolls and side salad. The decor is a little low rent but you can't have everything. I'd go here again, frequently, because there's a wide selection of dishes to be sampled.
(4)Rob D.
This place is the TITTY BINGO of Thai food. Believe it or not, me and my wife live in San Francisco and there are only a few Asian spots we eat at due to oyster sauce and fish oil being in everything. Don't be fooled by "vegetarian" when you dine at most Asian places... Rest assured this is legit vegan food as it says it in the name... And delicious too!!! We dabbled in an amazing green curry, the P.E.T., chili dumplings, vegan salad... All amazing!! The vegetable tempura was the bomb. Give this place a try folks!!! Way better than Dara Thai that was here before..... VEGAN IS LOVE!!!
(5)Jane D.
A friend was visiting from Denmark. She is a vegetarian so we decided to try this restaurant. i am not a vegetarian but was amazed at how great everything was. i would even return knowing i could not get any meat! :)
(5)Greg S.
Wow! I love great vegan food, and this one ranks really well :) The Freshy Rolls were amazing and the chicken satay was fantastic - sheer coconutty delight. The red curry was a little too salty, but they took it off my bill without a second thought when I commented on it. We also got a soup that my daughter, who usually won't eat soup, ate close to half. I've been to lots of Asian vegan restaurants over the decades - even several in Taiwan - and this was easily the best Asian vegan place where I've eaten. I'm only in Santa Fe for the weekend, but I'm definitely going to shoot for one more meal here! I only wish they had a bar, but with food this good, it's easy to forgo a glass of wine.
(5)Rebecca B.
This place is AMAZING! YOU MUST TRY THAI VEGAN. We were visiting friends in Santa Fe for 2 days. We went to Thai Vegan on the first evening, and returned for the second. After our first experience, we couldn't think of anywhere else we wanted to go! The first night, we ordered freshies (amazing fresh spring rolls) that were perfect and refreshing, Tom Yum Ka soup, green papaya salad, and 2 curries, green and yellow. EVERYTHING was delicious. We all ate well past the point of being full, simply because it was so hard to stop. Our second evening, we had many of the same things. The chef (who is lovely and immensely generous, by the way) prepared a special soup for us with rice noodles , "shrimp", "chicken", tofu, and many delectable flavors. Again, we left stuffed to the brim, and in bliss. Thanks so much for existing, Thai Vegan!
(5)Sharon B.
I've bought take out here three times. Each meal was perfect! It's so good, that I have a hard time imagining that I'll ever want to eat anywhere else! So far we've had the yellow curry, the green curry, the red curry, one of the noodle dishes (sorry... can't remember the name) and the vegetable dumbling appetizers with green curry. All of them were wonderful! I'm so glad they've opened here.
(5)Rae S.
I have eaten Thai food all over the world and this is the BEST ever! I am so excited that it is finally here. Lucky us in Santa Fe!
(5)Eric R.
I know great Thai food, and this is not it. If you want semi-fresh vegetables coated with curry powder and hard over-cooked soy meats, this is the place for you. Every dish at our table tasted the same (curry powder) and the veggies were soggy. Spring rolls were over fried and you could break a window with our tempura shrimp and soy chicken. If you are vegan, you know what good vegetables are and you won't find them here.
(1)Rolf A.
We went to Thai Vegan on a very unusual night: Thanksgiving Eve. We were traveling through Santa Fe on vacation and nothing - well, unless you count McDonald's and Denny's - was open and reasonable for my wife, me and our two boys. In addition, three of us have gluten intolerance / celiac disease and need to eat gluten-free. My wife and I were overjoyed when we drove by this place that didn't even show up on our online searches. We all love Thai food, and this food was outstanding. In fact, my 10-year-old said that the satay "chicken" was the best chicken he'd ever eaten. I still don't think he quite understands that he was actually eating soy. Anyway, the satay chicken and spring roll appetizers were delicious, and the pad thai, green curry, and Chinese broccoli main dishes were outstanding. The prices were very reasonable. My only suggestion would be that the restaurant serve a little more brown rice as a matter of course. Definitely a five-star rating from us, although we doubt we'll be able to return to Santa Fe anytime soon.

Went on a Saturday night. Most tables were taken and they seem to be terrifically understaffed. We sat ourselves and waited 20 minutes before our waitress came over-- we were seconds from getting up to leave. That was 20 minutes with no water, nothing! Ordered tofu satay which was fine but peanut sauce seemed to some from a can and was kind of a weird gel rather than peanut based sauce. Ordered green curry which was good but overly spicy. Pad Thai was disgusting: gooey, flavored oddly... I wouldn't even call it pad Thai. Prices were high for the quality of food. Service continued to be poor--our waitress never came back after delivering our food even though we ran out of water. Everyone else in the place seemed to be having soup so maybe that's the secret. All I know was we had a very poor service experience coupled with food that ranged from mediocre to downright inedible for a price that was very high considering.
(2)Scott S.
First time here, ordered spicy eggplant, added tofu, good portion of food and not overly saucy, perfect taste, 3/5 spicy and could have gone 4/5. Little pricey since its Santa Fe but I am sure I will come back many times.
